Sarah and Jim composting dependance!
Everything is made from materials recycled / recovered (except for the hinges and seal) and built by Jim and Sarah. The first thing you see is the compost, is the center storage bin clean cover material (straw) is the right bin for future applications. The red bucket is the catchment area from his own imagination gutter, sidewalk and then our feet is awesome! Inside, you see the toilet, our lovely and beautiful roof that hinged connection of the greenhouse. The bin lid toilet material for the yellow sawdust,Sphagnum is the sack behind, we are using for the roofing material. So, to see the bank - the silver bin stores peat with a cup to sprinkle on top. Then the lid is lifted to reveal a Humanure 5 gallon bucket! Our next good recovery window, then back to the view that the South River is a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. This system does not use precious water to swim away from our hut, but we compost to go back on the floor! It 'easy and can be carried out in urban areasThe settings do not, the bucket still smell the compost pile, it is absolutely safe and can save thousands of gallons of water in front, "treated" with toxic chemicals and downloaded it again in our watershed (which , incidentally, is the very place that we used in our drinking water).
